This audience-interactive musical takes the audience on a date with our female lead and four potential suitors. At the conclusion of date #1, the audience votes on which three men should continue on to a second date; then again on which two gentlemen head off on a third date and potentially, meet the parents. Those not chosen as the “one” will transform into other characters, such as her Dad, friend, waiter, etc. In addition, as an audience member you’ll have the chance to be cast as Mom, best friend and more! At the end of the show, the woman realizes she has allowed everyone else to make a decision for her, which she should be making on her own.

Superman meets THE 39 STEPS in this new comic musical about two brothers whose lives are turned upside-down when one of them attains super-human powers. Set in a simpler time before super heroes existed, he must learn on his own what to do with his new gifts as he struggles between “Goodness” vs. “Greatness.” Does he use them to save the day, or to get the girl? This fresh take on a comic book origin story tells the epic tale of the world’s FIRST super hero with a versatile cast of five in multiple roles and lightning fast costume changes, while utilizing old-fashioned stage craft and imagination, instead of special effects, to make our hero fly.

Reimagined existing show

New musicals aren’t always brand new, but reimagined versions of shows that already exist and can use some reworking to increase their effectiveness and popularity. After our success reimagining FIRST DATE, Pittsburgh CLO has been granted permission to revisit the 2008 Tony®-nominated musical XANADU.

XANADU is a campy, 80s-inspired, roller skating, musical comedy. Follow the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first ROLLER DISCO! But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds.

A concert-cabaret musical inspired by the true story of Niko’s time as a pool boy at the hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles. It is the story of the best/worst summer ever – a summer of making bad choices for good reasons, missed opportunities in love in pursuit of ambition and a pool boy who loses all he had hoped for only to ultimately discover what matters most.
