Sally Struthers (Carmen Bernstein)

Ms Struthers, a two-time Emmy Award winner, attended the famed Pasadena Playhouse College of Theatre Arts. She won the “Gloria Stivic” role in "All in the Family" and the rest is television history. She appeared in the classic films, “Five Easy Pieces” and “The Getaway” and in several television movies. Sally also starred in the television series “9 to 5,” “Gloria,” “Still Standing,” and “Gilmore Girls.” She appeared on the Broadway stage in Wally’s Café, The Odd Couple, and Grease and has been in a bazillion theatre productions around the country. She loves all children, but her daughter Sam is her favorite.

Malcolm Gets (Lt. Frank Cioffi)

David Elder (Bobby Pepper)

Mr. Elder makes his Pittsburgh CLO debut. David recently won the role of Phil Davis, made famous by Danny Kaye, in the National Tour of White Christmas. Other standouts include playing Joe Hardy in the First National Tour of Damn Yankees opposite Jerry Lewis and portraying Tapping Timothy Harper in the Encores production of Strike Up The Band opposite Kristen Chenoweth. David received a Kevin Kline Award for his performance as Bobby Child in the St. Louis STAGES production of Crazy For You and some regional favorites include Singin' in the Rain (Don Lockwood) at Goodspeed and Windy City (Hildy Johnson) at Walnut Street. Danette Holden (Georgia Hendricks)

Daniel Krell (Johnny Harmon)

Mr. Krell was last seen as Mr. Sowerberry in this summer's production of Oliver! and has appeared in over 25 productions with Pittsburgh CLO and has acted in major roles in the area’s professional theatres such as the Public, City Theatre, Quantum, Playhouse Rep, Bricolage and PICT. Regional credits include Clarence Brown Theatre’s A Child’s Christmas in Wales (Dylan Thomas) and Gateway playhouse’s Forever Plaid (Sparky) among others. Mr. Krell is a veteran of many films, commercials, voice-overs, and industrials.

Kevin Ligon (Oscar Shapiro)

Mr. Ligon has appeared on Broadway in Finian’s Rainbow, Young Frankenstein, The Producers, Kiss Me Kate, 1776 and The Secret Garden. National Tours: The Producers (also L.A. Stuart Marland (Christopher Belling)

National Tours include ‘Roger DeBris’ in The Producers, ‘General Genghis Kahn Schmitz’ in Seussical (with Cathy Rigby,) ‘Juan Peron’ in Evita, Ragtime, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber with Sarah Brightman, The Who’s Tommy, A Chorus Line, Sophisticated Ladies and The King and I (with Rudolf Nureyev.) Kirsten Scott (Bambi Bernét)

Formerly Kirsten Bracken from Fox Chapel, Kirsten is a proud yinzer and is thrilled to be performing with Pittsburgh CLO. Broadway: Hairspray. Off Broadway: The Marvelous Wonderettes. Regional: created the role of Flame in the World Premiere of Minsky’s at the Ahmanson Theater. Ashley Spencer (Niki Harris)

Ms. Spencer is thrilled to be returning to Pittsburgh after appearing as Eponine in Les Misérables last season. Her Broadway credits include: Grease (Sandy Dumbrowski) and Hairspray (Amber Von Tussle). Regional: MUNY, Pittsburgh CLO. She was a finalist on the NBC talent competition series “Grease: You’re The One That I Want.”

James Stellos (Daryl Grady)

Mr. Stellos' off-Broadway and L.A. credits include: Very Warm for May and Company (Garland Award). Recent regional roles: Mitch in Tuesdays with Morrie and The Young Actor in The Woman in Black at Utah Shakespearean Festival; Mason Marzac in Take Me Out at Ensemble Theatre Company; and Tom/Phyllis/Leslie in Sylvia (Stage Scene L.A. Award) for McCoy-Rigby. TV appearances: “Desperate Housewives”, “Journeyman”, “ER”, and “Judging Amy”. Film work includes, “Subbing for Julia”. A Pittsburgh native, Mr. Stellos has performed at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, Odd Chair Playhouse and previously at Pittsburgh CLO. James is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University.

Rob Sutton (Aaron Fox)

Mr. Sutton is happy to make his Pittsburgh CLO debut! On Broadway, he understudied and performed the roles of “The Beast” and “Gaston” in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, and starred as “Sam Carmichael” in the Las Vegas company of Mamma Mia! His additional credits include The World Goes Round (Pittsburgh Public), We Will Rock You (Las Vegas), Children of Eden (Ford’s Theatre), 42nd Street (Fulton Theatre), Mame (North Shore), The Story of My Life (Music Theatre of CT), and The Scarlet Pimpernel (Sacramento Music Circus).

Charley Repole (Director)
Mr. Repole has directed numerous productions for Pittsburgh CLO including: 42nd Street starring Tom Wopat, Annie starring Sally Struthers, Singin’ in the Rain, My Fair Lady, Carousel and Cinderella. His New York City and Broadway directing credits include the highly acclaimed concert versions of Dubarry was a Lady starring Faith Prince and Robert Morse and Call Me Madam starring Tyne Daly for the prestigious City Center Encores! series, the revival of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (which originated at the Goodspeed Opera House), The Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation Benefit at Carnegie Hall starring Regis Philbin, Marvin Hamlisch, Judy Collins, Anne Reinking and the New York Pops conducted by Skitch Henderson, and for 10 years, Mr. Repole had conceived and directed the annual fund raising gala for the 92nd Street “Y” including: Dance! featuring the works of Alvin Ailey dance company, the Martha Graham dance company, the Cleveland Ballet, David Parsons and Stomp! and Lyrics and Lyricists 25th Year Celebration hosted by Angela Lansbury and starring Rosie O’Donnell, Joel Grey, Bebe Neuwirth, Jerry Herman, Cy Coleman, Stephen Schwartz and Sheldon Harnick. For the Kennedy Center’s concert series, Words and Music, Mr. Repole directed Where’s Charley? and staged a concert version of Of Thee I Sing for the Chicago Humanities Festival celebrating the 100th Birthday of George Gershwin. For his production of A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine, Mr. Repole was nominated for Chicago’s prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award. Also an accomplished on-stage performer, he has appeared before Broadway audiences starring in Doubles, Whoopee! (for which he earned a Drama Desk nomination) and Very Good Eddie (which earned him a Tony® nomination and a Theatre World Award). Off-Broadway credits include Olympus On My Mind and the concert version of Magdalena. He was also “glimpsed briefly” on the sitcom “Encore Encore!” Mr. Repole is the Chairman of the Department of Drama Theatre and Dance at Queen’s College and received the 2001 President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Michael Lichtefeld (Choreographer)
Broadway: Little Women, The Secret Garden, The Sound Of Music, Sweeney Todd, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Laughing Room Only and the City Center Encores production of, Music In The Air. Stratford Shakespeare Festival: (director/choreographer) My One and Only, South Pacific, (choreographer) Camelot, Man Of LaMancha, Fiddler On The Roof, Hello Dolly, Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, The Tempest, The King and I. He has been nominated as Best Choreographer for the Drama Desk, The LA Ovation, and three Outer Critic’s Awards. He was nominated for the Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Award as best director and won as Best choreographer.

Tom Helm (Music Director)
Mr. Helm returns for his fifteenth season with Pittsburgh CLO. On Broadway, he was musical director of Les Misérables, of Me and My Girl, and the revival of Brigadoon. He was musical director of the first national tour of Cats, and conducted Cats on Broadway early in its run. At Radio City, he conducted 5-6-7-8 Dance! starring Sandy Duncan. Tom is also the resident music director at Paper Mill Playhouse, where he has conducted some 30 productions, including Follies (also on CD), Crazy For You (also on PBS), and She Loves Me. He is the musical supervisor for the live theatre productions of Diego Live, Blue’s Clues and Dora the Explorer. Recently, Tom was musical supervisor of the Broadway play-with-music, Souvenir with Judy Kaye.

John McClain (Lighting Designer)
Mr. McClain’s credits include National and International productions of musicals, ballet and opera. He has spent 21 years designing for Pittsburgh CLO. He has designed for Ice Capades, Radio City Music Hall, The Lido in Paris, Jubilee for the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and Reno. He has represented every major regional theater and opera company in the USA. In the summer, he divides time between Pittsburgh CLO, Theater of the Stars in Atlanta and the Dallas Summer Musicals. He has designed productions of Porgy and Bess all over the world. He has been represented on the road by Rugrats, Camelot, Joseph..., The King & I, The Sound of Music and Bombay Dreams. John lives in New York City and Connecticut.
